Some events deserve a circle on the calendar. For us at Greda, Xylexpo is one of them.
This year, we are back to Milan for our 22nd appearance (out of 29 editions ever held) at the world's leading trade fair for woodworking technology.
Not an occasional visit, not a matter of convenience, a presence that tells the story of who we are, edition after edition, since Greda was founded.

An Edition Like No Other
For the first time, Xylexpo is part of a single, larger event, Matec, which brings together Plast, the international exhibition for the plastics and rubber industry, and the brand-new Composites Future, a showcase and conference dedicated to composite materials. Three shows under one roof.
This reflects a real and profound shift taking place across the industry: products that have always been made from a single material like furniture, doors, windows, interior fittings are increasingly multi-material, with wood, aluminium, plastic and composites living side by side in the same structure. Wood is being transformed, in the most creative and productive sense of the word, and the manufacturing world has no choice but to follow.
Xylexpo has understood this shift better than anyone.
Two Greda CNC Machining Centres, Waiting to Be Discovered
This edition brings an exciting development: we will be present with two CNC machines, both up and running. The Diva Jambs R1 CU will be at our stand, while the Sprinter 1212 R1 CU FT will be in action at the Assocompositi demo area. Robust, versatile and precise, two machines built to handle a wide range of materials with outstanding flexibility.

These are not static displays. Both spaces are live and operational, with our technicians on hand for real-time demonstrations, in-depth technical walk-throughs and one-to-one comparisons. Because we believe the best way to tell a machine's story is to let you get your hands on it.
Composites Future Demo Area: Academy and Dedicated Demonstrations
Being selected for the Xylexpo demo area means stepping into the heart of the Composites Future Academy, a free, three-day training programme organised by Assocompositi, running from 10 to 12 June, designed for a qualified and international audience. The programme combines morning training sessions covering the latest developments in composite technologies, applications and sustainability, with afternoon practical demonstrations in the demo area , where our Sprinter 1212 R1 CU FT will be running, operated by our own qualified team.

Twenty-two appearances at Xylexpo are no coincidence. IWA OutdoorClassics is one of the most important international events for innovation, technology, and precision solutions in the outdoor sector.
Since 1974, it has been held annually in Nuremberg at one of the most modern exhibition centres, and in 2026 it will celebrate its 52nd edition.
This landmark event brings together over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and welcomes thousands of professional visitors, offering a comprehensive overview of innovative solutions, materials, and processes.
From 26 February to 1 March 2026, Greda will take part in IWA OutdoorClassics for the very first time, a significant step towards introducing the company to the sector and sharing its vision.
A vision built on listening to customers and achieving high levels of customisation in developing the final solution, because every project begins with dialogue and a deep understanding of real production needs.
Greda doesn’t simply provide CNC machining centres: it creates shared growth paths.
On this occasion, the CNC machining centre Mitika V5 will be presented—an advanced solution designed for high-precision machining of complex wooden components such as stocks, grips, and shaped elements with varied and intricate forms, traditionally difficult to achieve through manual processes.
Thanks to next-generation numerical control, the Mitika V5 ensures repeatability, dimensional stability, and extremely tight tolerances, overcoming the limitations of traditional craftsmanship, which requires longer lead times and involves natural variability between pieces.

In occasion of the 40th edition of FIMMA, GREDA is back to Valencia along with Europea de Maquinaria!
From May 14th to 17th, Feria Valencia is hosting one of the reference events for designers, interior designer, architects, carpenters, decorators and all professionals and specifiers of the furniture and installation industries: at FIMMA + Maderalia there will be 434 exhibitors for a total of 927 represented companies.
We're pleased and honored to attend such an amazing event, especially in partnership with Europea de Maquinaria, since FIMMA is a great chance of market reunion with national and international leading businesses in wood, carpentry and decoration.

GREDA LAB
Greda annually organizes the Greda Labs: an event where the company opens its doors to customers and resellers, and not only to introduce the new technologies developed, as well as programming software that accompany the machining centers.
This event is enriched by tests and machine simulations of particularly trendy elements in the market, as well as seminars held by university professors who deal with cutting-edge topics to make the most of digital-based stereotomy for the wood and related sector.

We are pleased to announce our membership to Assocompositi, the Italian Industry Association for composite materials.
Starting from March 2024, our membership is part of a wider-perspective corporate strategy: our interest and intent to operate in advanced and composite materials markets that, for some years now, have let GREDA design and develop CNC-machining centers that are suitable for such application fields.
Our Assocompositi's membership - which promotes composites culture and protects markets and institutions' relationships - proves once again GREDA CNC-machining centers abilities of flexibility and customization, nowadays corporate distinctive traits.
This membership represents an important step to us as a symbol of growth and technical and technological specialization.
Change of roles for Acimall, the association of Italian manufacturers of wood and furniture technology: from Assago (Milan) headquarter where it is used to gather, the assembly approved the proposal previously presented by the last board of directors.
Luigi De Vito, general manager at Scm Group, and Marianna Daschini, GREDA CEO, leave their roles respectively as Acimall’s president and vice president. For the 2023-2026 term they are succeeded by Enrico Aureli, vice president at Scm Group, and Raphaël Prati, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Biesse.
After the first thankful words to the shareholders’ assembly for the given trust, Aureli congratulated the outgoing board of directors for the efficiency and the success guiding Acimall in the recent period.
A change of the association's board that is not going to affect the support and dedication that Marianna is going to ensure to Acimall and the ingoing directors.

SPIRIT CN, FOR 20 YEARS ON THE MARKET
For over 20 years we have been producing Spirit CN, a adaptable machine that is increasingly precise and characterized by high performance in terms of productivity.
SPIRIT CN is a mini machining center with two interpolated axes designed to perform head workings at 45°and 90° as well as working along one side of the piece (multiple mortising, milling and drilling) on doors , frames, as well as elements of chairs, doors, windows, in solid wood or coated MDF.
A compact machine that takes up little space in the factory and is very interesting for the American market characterized by a massive production of “cabinets”. Thanks to the action of our official dealer Stiles Machinery, we want to offer our best solutions to the needs of US customers.

The forty-years anniversary of Greda is just around the corner, a story full of successes and satisfactions.
A celebratory logo has been developed for the occasion, a small sign but full of meaning.
