On September 13^th and 14^th we’re visiting DREMA, the international trade fair for machines, tools and components for the wood and furniture industries, in Poland;
From September 14^th to 17^th we are joining Sinarmasindo at IFFINA – Indonesia Meubel & Design Expo (hall 3A, booth D26-27);
On September 20^th we are closing this events series with Stiles Machinery Open House, in North Carolina, when we are officially presenting Diva Miter during a seminar for the manufacturing of high quality 5-piece cabinet doors, face frames and more.

Settembre è un sempre un punto di ripartenza, un Capodanno 2.0 anticipato alla fine dell’estate.

We presented Argo Doors only a few weeks ago, yet we’re ready with another huge news – let’s make it “double”: GREDA launches on the market a double head Argo CNC!

The 4016 FT model of Argo T2 is equipped with rexilon top double tables and two variable distance operative groups. Each head features a 5-axis unit with a single electro-spindle plus a 12-position rack-model tool-changer, a 26-independent-spindles boring unit and a tool setter for automatic tool length measurements.

The CNC allows to work in twin modality on the same table - in order to double the production of the same piece - or two different programs in each working area.

Abbiamo da poco presentato Argo Doors e già siamo pronti con un’altra grande novità – una novità “doppia”: GREDA lancia sul mercato un centro di lavoro Argo doppia testa!

Nel modello 4016 FT, Argo T2 è equipaggiato con una doppia tavola con piani in rexilon e due gruppi operativi a interasse variabile. Ciascuna testa è dotata di un'unità a 5 assi con elettro-mandrino singolo e cambio utensile a 12 posizioni nel modello a rastrelliera, un gruppo a forare a 26 punte indipendenti e un tool setter per la misurazione automatica dell’utensile.

Il CNC può lavorare in twin sulla stessa tavola – raddoppiando così la produzione del medesimo pezzo – oppure due programmi differenti per ogni area di lavoro.

Argo range embraces a new model, especially designed for doors and jambs and able to process honeycomb doors.

Argo Doors is a 5-axis NC-machining center equipped with an AT table top, T-slots and adjustable aluminium benches, and provided with vacuum or clamping systems. The main operating group R1CU allows big removals and provides no less than 36 positions for tool changing.

The peculiarity of such Argo evolution – and that makes it different from Diva Doors, for example – consists in automatic positioning systems and a loading support with anti-scratch system that not only facilitate the operator’s activities, but reduce loading and positioning time, too.

An anuba hinges loader with additional side feeder, a tool-setter to adjust lengths and a 3D dynamic sensor that measures the workpiece complete Argo Doors’ configuration.

La linea Argo si arricchisce di un nuovo modello, progettato appositamente per porte e stipiti e in grado di lavorare anche porte tamburate.

Argo Doors è un centro di lavoro a 5 assi equipaggiato con un'area di lavoro in acciaio con cave a T e traverse regolabili in alluminio, con sistemi di clampaggio o di bloccaggio mediante vuoto. Il gruppo operatore R1CU permette grosse asportazioni e prevede un totale di 36 posizioni per cambiare utensile.

La particolarità di questa nuova evoluzione del centro di lavoro Argo – e che lo differenzia, ad esempio, da Diva Doors – è la configurazione con piani caratterizzati da movimentazione automatica e un aiuto carico con sistema anti-graffio, che non solo facilitano le attività dell'operatore, ma riducono anche i tempi di carico e posizionamento del pezzo.

A completare Argo Doors, un'anubatrice per l'inserimento di cerniere con caricatore aggiuntivo laterale, un tool setter per la misurazione utensile e un tastatore dinamico 3D per la misurazione del pezzo in lavorazione.

Change of roles for Acimall, the association of Italian manufacturers of wood and furniture technology: from Assago (Milan) headquarter where it is used to gather, the assembly approved the proposal previously presented by the last board of directors.

Luigi De Vito, general manager at Scm Group, and Marianna Daschini, GREDA CEO, leave their roles respectively as Acimall’s president and vice president. For the 2023-2026 term they are succeeded by Enrico Aureli, vice president at Scm Group, and Raphaël Prati, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Biesse.

After the first thankful words to the shareholders’ assembly for the given trust, Aureli congratulated the outgoing board of directors for the efficiency and the success guiding Acimall in the recent period.

A change of the association's board that is not going to affect the support and dedication that Marianna is going to ensure to Acimall and the ingoing directors.

Cambio di poltrone per il direttivo di Acimall, l’associazione dei costruttori italiani di tecnologie per l’industria del mobile e del legno: dalla sede di Assago (Milano) dove è solita riunirsi, l’assemblea ha ratificato quanto emerso dall’ultimo consiglio direttivo.

Luigi De Vito, direttore generale di Scm Group, e Marianna Daschini, amministratore delegato di GREDA, lasciano i rispettivi ruoli di Presidente e Vicepresidente di Acimall. Per il biennio 2023-2026 succedono Marco Aureli, vicepresidente di Scm Group, e Raphaël Prati, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer di Biesse.

Dopo i primi ringraziamenti all’assemblea dei soci per la fiducia accordata, Aureli si è complimentato il consiglio direttivo uscente per l’efficacia con cui ha guidato Acimall nel periodo precedente.

Cambia dunque la guida dell’associazione, ma non il supporto che Marianna continuerà a offrire ad Acimall e al direttivo entrante.

Altissime erano le aspettative dell’edizione 2023 di LIGNA, e spettacolari ed emozionanti sono stati i risultati. Durante l’evento internazionale di Hannover, svoltosi in cinque giorni impegnativi ed intensi, abbiamo avuto occasione di incontrare tutti i nostri partner con cui da anni collaboriamo e grazie ai quali, oggi, siamo in grado di seguire e fornire supporto a tutta la clientela in ogni parte del mondo.

La rete commerciale e tecnica, unitamente alla rete distributiva, ci permette di affiancare la clientela fin dalle prime fasi di evoluzione del progetto, lavorando sinergicamente con il fine di sviluppare il progetto più adatto all’esigenza del cliente. Non solo quindi macchine, ma idee e soluzioni vincenti.

Non è mancata l’occasione di presentare alcuni dei nostri centri di lavoro dedicati alla lavorazione del legno: Poker V5, già noto da Xylexpo 2022 e consolidato come soluzione vincente e indispensabile per il cliente che vuole raggiungere alte performance, in termini sia di qualità di prodotto finito sia di completezza del processo produttivo; Diva Miter, evoluzione della storica linea Diva dedicata alla realizzazione stipiti e pezzi angolari, ed esempio di quanto l’azienda stia spingendo verso la customizzazione dei servizi offerti; e infine, ma non per importanza, Venus V5, la versione implementata e brevettata di un centro di lavoro multi-funzione in grado di processare fino a quattro pezzi in contemporanea.

LIGNA 2023 è stato anche l’evento perfetto per il lancio di un’importante novità di GREDA: il Virtual Showroom! L’utente ha la possibilità di visitare la versione virtuale dello showroom della sede di Mariano Comense e visualizzare l’intera linea di centri di lavoro insieme a video, brochure e schede tecniche.

Non solo: LIGNA ha rappresentato anche una possibilità di team-building. Per quanto in numeri ristretti rispetto alla realtà aziendale attuale, non sono mancati i momenti per unire le forze o, semplicemente, fare una chiacchierata informale a cena.

Expectations for the 2023 edition of LIGNA were at their highest, and we couldn’t have asked for more! During the challenging but exciting five days of Hannover international event we had the opportunity to meet all the partners we’ve been working together for years and thanks to whom we’re now able to follow and support customers all around the world.

Technical, sales and dealing networks allow us to be side by side with our clients since the very beginning of each project’s evolution, synergically working together in order to develop the one more suitable to every customer’s need. Not only CNCs, but winning ideas and solutions.

We didn’t miss the chance to exhibit some of our innovative NC-machining centers for woodworking: Poker V5, already well-known since we presented it at Xylexpo, has now become one of our finest solutions for those who need high performances combined with excellent quality; Diva Miter, an evolution of Diva range for jambs and angular pieces that perfectly represents how GREDA keeps on improving its customisation skills; and last but not least Venus V5, the upgraded version of an already patented CNC with multiple operating groups able to process up to 4 pieces simultaneously.

Furthermore, LIGNA 2023 was the perfect time for launching a significant new project for us: the Virtual Showroom! Users have the possibility to wander around the virtual version of our headquarters’ showroom in Italy and discover all the CNCs along with videos, brochures, and technical information.

That’s not the end: LIGNA represented a chance for team-building, too. Even if the team was numerically smaller than the actual corporate reality, we joined forces all day long and ended up with quality time and informal chats at dinner.

The energy LIGNA left us is not over and we’re working with even more dedication to reach new goals and carry out new projects.
